Dr. Sameh El-Saharty began his journey at the Kasr Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, graduating in 1982. Building upon this medical foundation, he expanded his focus toward international health management and public policy, earning a master's degree in health policy from Harvard University.
Dr. El-Saharty built a career in international development, serving as a Lead Health Policy Specialist at the World Bank in Washington, D.C.:
