Dr. Ahmed Kamel Abdel Aal is a Professor of Radiology and Interventional Radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, USA, with over 26 years of professional experience. A graduate of Kasr Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine (Class of 1995), he earned his MBBCh, MSc, and MD in Radiology.
Following his graduation, Dr. Kamel pursued advanced fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He currently serves as Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and holds multiple leadership roles across major hospitals in Houston.
His clinical expertise focuses on interventional oncology, portal hypertension interventions, dialysis access interventions, and deep vein thrombosis management.
