A 1969 Kasr Al-Ainy alumnus, Dr. Youssef Ghabrial Ibrahim spent decades leading urogynaecological practice and shaping medical accreditation across the United Kingdom.

Dr. Youssef Ghabrial Ibrahim earned his medical degree from the Kasr Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, in 1969. Moving to the United Kingdom, he developed a career in obstetrics, gynecology, and urogynaecology, practicing as a consultant in the subspecialty for over twenty years. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in London in 1996.

Dr. Ibrahim played a role in evaluating and certifying medical professionals across the British healthcare system:

• Royal College Examiner: Served for over a decade as a core examiner for both the DRCOG and MRCOG examinations.

• Training and Hospital Accreditation: Represented the Royal College in assessing hospital training programs and evaluating consultant appointments throughout the UK.
