Professional Journey and Career Evolution

Prof. Yasser Ezzat began his medical career after graduating from Kasr Al‑Ainy Faculty of Medicine in 1996. He completed his residency in Rheumatology at Cairo University Hospitals (1998–2001), gaining extensive clinical exposure across subspecialties.

He progressed academically, earning his MSc in 2000 and MD in Rheumatology in 2005, followed by the prestigious MRCP (UK) specialty certification in 2013. His career includes roles as a consultant in several leading institutions, including the Rheumatology Center of Prof. Tahsin El‑Hadidi, National Institute of Neuromotor System, and Saudi Arabian Airlines Medical Center (2009–2020).

Prof. Yasser has played a key role in improving the diagnosis and management of rheumatologic diseases through evidence‑based clinical practice and research. His work has contributed to better disease monitoring and patient outcomes, particularly in autoimmune disorders.

As an educator, he has trained generations of medical students, residents, and junior physicians, strengthening the future workforce in rheumatology. His mentorship and supervision have significantly influenced clinical standards and academic development.
