The Medical Education Development Center is pleased to announce “Assessment Excellence: Designing High-Quality OSCEs in Medical Education” workshop. This workshop provides participants with a structured and practical introduction to assessment in medical education. It focuses on the core principles of high-quality assessment, alignment with learning outcomes, and the use of assessment as a driver for learning and professional development. Through interactive sessions, hands-on exercises, participants will develop high-quality structured OSCE stations.

Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs)

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Select appropriate assessment methods aligned with learning outcomes and levels of Miller’s pyramid.

  • Construct high-quality structured OSCE stations.

  • Develop clear and defensible scoring rubrics and checklists for performance-based assessments.
